Apple Tart

This is a recipe for an apple tart. As with many sweet or pudding recipes this is popular and made throughout the world and this is merely one "twist" on a very traditional recipe
For US to UK equivalents see this rough guide

Recipe Ingredients:

  • Apples - 5
  • Flour - 1 cup
  • Butter - 1 Cup
  • Rainsins - 1/2 cup
  • Fructose - 1/4 cup
  • Salt
  • Egg - 2
  • Lemon - 1
  • Cinnamon Powder - 1/2 tbsp

Method:

You need to take a deep bowl. Add the flour, butter, pinch of salt, egg, and fructose. Mix all of them thoroughly for 5 min till you get a smooth paste. You need to get a smooth paste to get a smooth sweet. Keep the bowl aside for ½ hour. Take a bowl and add lemon juice, sliced apple pieces and mix them thoroughly. Take a dish and butter it and flour it a flat surface. Add the paste and fold it to a tart form. Season it with cinnamon powder if desired. Add the Apple mixture as a later on the top and place this in preheated oven and bake it for 35 min at 400 F. You can keep in fridge and make it cool before serving. OR can be served warm.

As with all recipes which involve cooking and baking a sensible approach must be taken especially when dealing with warm or hot (temperature) ingredients. If you are unable to take due care, please do not attempt to make any of these recipes. All recipes are tried at your own risk.
