  • Beef Chuck - 4 lb
  • Minced Onion 1
  • Bay leaf - 1
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Whiskey

Method:

Add butter to a pan and let it melt. Once the butter is melted add the beef joint cut into slices and fry. Fry until the beef roast turns in to brown colour on all side. Add chopped onions, sugar, bay leaf and fry for 2 min. Add anchovies, peppercorns, vinegar. Add the whiskey and water and cook for 5 min. Once it gets boiled cover with a lid and on low flame cook for 1 hours until the meat cooks properly and becomes tender. Serve Hot.

As with all recipes which involve cooking and baking a sensible approach must be taken especially when dealing with warm or hot (temperature) ingredients. If you are unable to take due care, please do not attempt to make any of these recipes. All recipes are tried at your own risk.
