Khao Niau Muul

Sticky rice with fruits, or Khao Niau Muul, is a classic Thai dessert. It's very easy and fun to make, and your family or guests will love it!

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 400 ml water
  • 1/4 kg sticky rice
  • 1/2 L coconut milk
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Various fruits, chopped or cubed, according to taste




Method:

In deep frying pan combine water and coconut milk and boil the mixture for 15-20 min on low heat.

Add rice, salt and sugar to the mixture. Cover with a lid and cook for 20 min.

Add the rest of the coconut milk and stir it thoroughly. Cook for five more minutes.

Garnish with dry or fresh chopped fruits.
